Notice of Public Hearing The Jackson Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on January 27, 2026. The hearing will be held at the Jackson Township House located at 10653 Staudt Rd, Union City. The hearing will start at or as near as possible to 7:00 PM to hear the following case: Case# BZA-Jackson-#01-2026: A request for a variance from the Development Standards Section 302.05 (A) for Lot Area less than five acres in an A-1 District by Debra Evans. It is proposed to split off a +/-2.0 acre parcel from a 24 acre tract for the purpose of constructing a new single-family home. The applicant is also seeking a variance from the Development Standards Section 302.05 (B) in order for the proposed new parcel to be approximately 295 feet in width, instead of the minimum required lot width of 300 feet. The subject property is located at 9389 Hillgrove-Ft Recovery Road in Jackson Township, Parcel ID H32-0-113-34-00-00-40400 and is zoned A-1 (Agriculture).
