DARKE COUNTY PY2025 BROWNFIELD REMEDIATION PROGRAM COOPER FARMS UNION CITY MILL DEMOLITION NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Darke County Board of Commissioners, as contracting authority, will receive sealed bids for demolition of the vacant mill structure located at 210 East Elm Street, Union City, Ohio owned by Cooper Farms, Inc. Bids will be received at the office of the Darke County Board of Commissioners located at 520 South Broadway Street, Greenville, OH 45331,
until 1:00 p.m. (local time), Thursday, September 10, 2026
. Bids will be opened at 1:30 (local time) and publicly read aloud. Bids received after 1:00 p.m. (local time) will be returned unopened. Bids shall be marked, "Darke County PY2025 Brownfield Remediation Program-Cooper Farms Union City Mill Demolition" and include the Bidder's name and address. Bids must be signed and submitted on the bidding forms included in the Bidding Documents and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the total Bid amount or by a certified check in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the Bid, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid. The Bidding Documents may be examined and/or obtained in an electronic format from the Darke County Grants Office, 520 South Broadway, Greenville, Ohio 45331 (Telephone: 937-547-7368 or slaux@co.darke.oh.us). BIDS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM BIDDERS LISTED ON THE OFFICIAL LIST OF PLAN HOLDERS. The Darke County Commissioners reserve the right to reject each and every bid and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law.
