Sally Skiver LUDINGTON, MI -- Sally (Bentz) Skiver, born October 25, 1943 in Ludington, MI passed peacefully on December 19, 2025. Sally is preceded in death by her father Otto Bentz and mother Beatrice Bentz; brothers Martin and Johnny Shumsky; sisters Shirley Beimer and Lois Johnson. She is survived by her spouse of 40 years, Jerry Skiver, whom she met as a pen pal; stepdaughter Mary Ann Easterling; stepsons James Skiver and Patrick Skiver; brother Danny (Sandy) Bentz and sister Connie Coker. Sally loved babysitting full time, going to church, baking cookies and meeting up with neighborhood friends at McDonalds, where she would enjoy her 4-piece chicken McNuggets. In honor of her love for children and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sally’s name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105.
