Notice of Rescheduled Public Hearing The Butler Township Board of Zoning Appeals has rescheduled a public hearing that was originally to take place on Tuesday, May 19th at 7pm. The hearing will now be held on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026 . The hearing will be held at the Butler Township House located at 1481 U.S. Route 127. The hearing will start at or as near as possible to 7:00 PM. The Board will hear the following case: Case# BZA-Butler-05-2026: A Conditional Use request by Shamrock Materials, Inc. per Zoning Resolution 302.04 (F) and Article 5 Section 510 in order to conduct mineral extraction operations. The subject properties are located on Weaver Station Road and includes a portion of a railroad parcel that lies south of Hollansburg-Sampson Road and north of Weaver Station Road in Butler Township. Parcel ID numbers of the subject properties are D17-0-210-05-00-00-30500, D17-0-210-05-00-00-40101, D17-0-210-05-00-00-40200 (aka 2802 Weaver Station Road), and D17-0-210-05-00-00-40100 (aka 2932 Weaver Station Road), all of which are zoned A-1 Agricultural.
