Jack Hudson (Peanut) Ballard GREENVILLE - Jack Hudson "Peanut" Ballard, 17, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on May 25, 2026. Born on December 9, 2008, in Dayton, Ohio, Jack was a bright and compassionate young man whose life touched many in his community. A proud honor student at Arcanum Butler High School, Jack excelled academically while also being an active member of the school's golf team. His love for golf extended beyond the school grounds to Turtle Creek Golf Course, where he spent countless hours honing his skills and enjoying the sport he cherished. Alongside his studies and extracurricular activities, Jack worked diligently stocking produce at Kroger, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication beyond his years. Jack's passions were as diverse as they were meaningful. He found joy in F1 racing, video games, and spending time with his beloved dog and cat. Whether perfecting his golf swing or indulging in well-deserved naps after a busy day, Jack embraced life with enthusiasm and heart. Those who knew him often remarked on his intelligence and kind spirit; he was an old soul in a young boy who never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Jack is survived by his loving parents, Jeff Ballard and Jill Wickman; his brother, Derrick Ballard; his grandmother, Linda Apple; as well as numerous aunts and uncles who held him dear. His family takes comfort in the memories of his warm smile and generous heart. May Jack's memory serves as a source of strength and solace to all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held on December the 9th, 2026 which would have been Jack's 18th birthday, more details and location will follow at a later date.
