LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION TO BID BRADFORD EXEMPTED VILLAGES SCHOOLS NEW ATHLETIC FACILTY 760 Railroad Avenue Bradford, Ohio 45308 Separate sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of a new athletic facility as specified, will be received by the Office of the Treasurer, Bradford Exempted Village Schools on August 5 at 2:00 P.M. (local time) and will be opened and read aloud at that time at the above address. Bids may be mailed or delivered in person to the Treasurer, Carla Surber, Bradford Exempted Village Schools, 760 Railroad Avenue, Bradford, Ohio 45308. Bids received after 2:00 P.M. (local time) will be returned unopened. No bids received through FAX or electronic transmission will be accepted. Qualified Bidders may obtain digital sets of bidding documents after July 13, 2026 by contacting Mike Huff at mhuff@levin-porter.com . Documents will be distributed via electronic pdf file only (no fee). A pre-bid conference will be held on July 22, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at 760 Railroad Avenue, Bradford, Ohio 45308. The pre-bid conference is not mandatory but highly encouraged. A bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in accordance with Chapter 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid shall accompany each bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid shall accompany each bid. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond for one hundred (100%) of the contract price. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject each and every bid, and to waive informalities and errors in bidding to the extent permitted by law.
