Nancy E. Raffel GREENVILLE -- Nancy E. Raffel, age 71 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 5:07 AM Wednesday November 12, 2025, at the EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville. Nancy was born June 21, 1954, in Greenville and the daughter of the late Foster Frederick and Ellen Marie (Sites) Meier. She retired in June of 2021 from Wayne HealthCare where she had worked for 47 years as a Registered Nurse and Infection Prevention/Employee Health Nurse. Nancy was a 1972 graduate of Greenville Senior High School and later received her Registered Nursing Degree from the Fort Wayne Lutheran Nursing School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, sewing and making quilts, crocheting, reading, researching her family genealogy and all things beautiful in nature, especially sunrises and sunsets. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Mike Campbell. She is survived by her husband Charlie Raffel of Greenville. They were married on December 3, 1977. Also, by her children Ann Eileen Raffel of Oregon, Lynne Marie Raffel of Greenville and Matthew Charles Raffel and his wife, Abbie of Greenville; step grandchildren Cole Marshall and Ryker Marshall; sister Rebecca Ann Campbell of Ansonia as well as 1 niece and 1 nephew. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date. It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Cancer Association of Darke County 111 Sweitzer Street Suite C, Greenville, Ohio, 45331.
