Notice of Public Hearing The Butler Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025. The hearing will be held at the Butler Township House located at 1481 U.S. Route 127. The hearing will start at or as near as possible to 7:00 PM. The Board will hear the following cases: Butler BZA 03-25 : This hearing has been requested by Ervin and Marie Garber, for a Conditional Use to split off an existing farm dwelling on a small lot per Zoning Resolution Section 302.04 (M) and Article 5, Section 505. The applicant proposes to divide approximately 2.5 acres with an existing farm dwelling and accessory structures from a 78.5 acre tract. The subject property is located at 2082 Preble-Butler Township Road in Butler Township, Parcel ID D17-0-210-08-00-00-20200. The property is currently zoned A-1 (Agriculture). Butler BZA 04-25 : This hearing has been requested by Ervin and Marie Garber, for a Conditional Use to split off an existing farm dwelling on a small lot per Zoning Resolution Section 302.04 (M) and Article 5, Section 505. The applicant proposes to divide approximately 5 acres with an existing farm dwelling and accessory structures from an 80 acre tract. The subject property is located at 4810 Otterbein-Ithaca Road, Butler Township, Parcel ID D16-0-210-23-00-00-20200. The property is currently zoned A-1 (Agriculture).
