REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FROM DESIGN-BUILD FIRMS The Mississinawa Valley School District will be accepting Statements of Qualifications from design-build firms for the Mississinawa Valley Career Technology Building Renovation Project on the Mississinawa Valley School Campus. The total project budget is $1,500,000.00. Qualified firms may submit statements of qualifications by e-mail to Mr. Jeff Winchester, Superintendent at jeff_winchester@mississinawa.org or by mail or in person at the Mississinawa Valley School District Board Office, 1469 State Route 47 East, Union City, OH 45390-8628. Statements of qualifications should provide information about the firm that would allow the Board to evaluate firms on the basis of technical training, education, and experience of the firm’s personnel and key consultants, and the architect or engineer of record and any other employees and consultants who would be assigned to perform the services under this contract; the ability of the firm in terms of its workload and availability of qualified personnel, equipment, and facilities to perform the required designbuild services competently and expeditiously; and past performance of the firm as reflected by the evaluations of previous clients with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and meeting of deadlines; and compliance with Ohio Revised Code sections 4703.182, 4703.332 and 4733.16, including the use of a licensed design professional for all design services. Statements of Qualifications must be received by the Mississinawa Valley School District no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday May 10th, 2024. The Mississinawa Valley School District will select its top three firms, provide the scope of work, request a pricing proposal from each of those firms, and begin contract negotiations with the top-ranked firm. A pre-proposal meeting for the short listed firms shall be Tuesday May 14th at 2:30 pm on site. This is a qualification-based selection process. Firms should not submit bids, price estimates, or projectspecific proposals at this time.
