Roxanna R. Meyer HOUSTON -- Roxanna Ruth (Hesson) Meyer, age 65, of Stillwater Road, Houston, passed away of natural causes Friday evening, July 25, 2025, at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. She was born July 11, 1960, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Norbert & Ruth (Flatter) Hesson. On July 25, 1987, at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Covington, Roxanna married Stephen Meyer who survives. Also surviving are three children: Michelle & Greg Wagner of Versailles, Amy Meyer of Tipp City and Douglas & Katerri Meyer of Houston along with seven grandchildren: Jeremiah, Madilyn, Josiah and Katilyn Wagner, Clay, Cletus and Luann Meyer; one brother: Richard Hesson of Versailles and brothers & sisters-in-law: Roger Meyer & Teresa Grillot of Russia, Terrence & Debra Meyer of Covington, Joyce & Thomas Grilliot of Covington, Arthur & Donna Meyer of Covington, Jeffery Cain of Troy, Sharon & Kenneth Luebke of Fort Loramie, Mark A. & Hortencia Meyer of Springfield, Shirley & Gregory Arnett of Piqua, Gary & Buffy Meyer of Sidney, James & Charlotte Meyer of Houston, Bill & Mitzi Clark of Houston, Jeff & Sue Clark of Covington and Debbie & Bill Clason of Covington as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as in-laws, Sylvester & Jean Meyer, Pauline Clark Meyer and two sisters-in-law, Donna Hesson and Connie Cain. Roxanna was a 1979 Graduate of Versailles High School. She initially worked at the Kroger supermarket in Greenville before becoming a dedicated homemaker. She was a member of St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church where she had been a funeral luncheon volunteer. In her leisure time, Roxanna enjoyed camping, traveling, cooking and especially, entertaining her grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at St Teresa Church in Covington with Rev. James Duell presiding. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Family and friends may call Tuesday 4:00 to 7:00 PM and Wednesday 9:00 to 9:30 AM at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie. Memorials may be made to Pink Ribbon Good, Houston Fire Department or charities of choice. Private condolences may be expressed at the gehretfuneralhome.com website.
