Leroy C. Billenstein NORTH STAR -- On July 24, 2024 at 2:44 p.m. our Lord and Savior called Leroy Carl Billenstein, age 84 to his forever home. Leroy died peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born February 22, 1941, in Darke Co., Ohio, to the late William and Ermel (Rarick) Billenstein. Leroy married his sweetheart, Wanda C. Norris on May 23, 1964 at East Zion Church and the two began raising a family together. The family would like to thank everyone for the great tribute for Leroy at the viewing and services at St. Paul Lutheran Church near North Star, OH. Especially to Ever Heart Hospice for the great care and comfort they provided the family the finals days of his life, to Brad & Lori Stone and comfort Dog (Faith) and daughter Kathy Gelhaus and friend Tom Fox for helping to care for Leroy. A very special husband, father, & Grandpa who will be greatly missed!
