Notice Of Public Hearing The Twin Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on October 23, 2025 at the Arcanum Wayne Trail Historical Society Building located at 123 West George Street, Arcanum at 7:30 P.M. regarding a request for a variance at the residence located at 970 St Rt 503, Arcanum OH. Location is zoned A1. The variance is from the Twin Township Zoning Ordinance Section 503 Private Accessorial Swimming Pools and Game Courts paragraph 503.03 Access Control . All swimming pools shall be walled or fenced in order to prevent uncontrolled access by children from any street or adjacent property. All such fences or walls shall be a minimum of five (5) feet in height and maintained in good condition with a gate and lock. The variance is a pool cover that performs the same function for child safety that is in the Section 503.03 thereby replacing the need for a fenced enclosure.
