Notice of Public Hearing The Darke County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 16th, 2026 in the conference room on the 1st floor of the County Administration Building, 520 S Broadway, Greenville, Ohio. The hearing will start at or as near as possible to 7 PM. The Board will hear the following cases: Case# BZA-County-16-2026 : A Conditional Use request by WUEBKER LAND LLC in accordance with Zoning Resolution Section 302.04 (K) and Article 5, Section 506 in order to divide +/- 3.794 acres from a 63.125 acre tract for the purpose of constructing a new single-family home on a lot smaller than the minimum requirement of 20 acres in an Agricultural district. In addition, the property owner is also requesting a Variance from Sections 506.04 and 303.05 for the new small lot to have a width less than the minimum requirement of 200 feet and for the new parcel's depth to be more than three times its width. The subject property is located on Reed Road in Wayne Township, Parcel ID T73-0-410-07-00-00-40100 and is zoned A-1 Agricultural. Case# BZA-County-17-2026 : A Conditional Use request by SHOEMAKER CHRISTOPHER L & SHOEMAKER CARMEN K TRUSTEES OF THE SHOEMAKER FAMILY TRUST in accordance with Zoning Resolution Section 302.04 (K) and Article 5, Section 506 in order to divide +/- 8.27 acres from a 59.717 acre tract for the purpose of constructing a new single-family home on a lot that is less than the minimum requirement of 20 acres in an Agricultural district. The subject property is located on White-Coppess Road in Brown Township, Parcel ID C13-0-213-15-00-00-30200 and is zoned A-1 Agricultural.
