James W. Albright GREENVILLE -- James "Jim" W. Albright, age 88, of Greenville, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville. He was born on October 27, 1936 in Greenville to the late Wilbur and Frances (Gearhart) Albright. In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce Albright. Those left to cherish Jim's memory include his daughter, Cynthia (Craig) Brown of Manchester, MI; son, Doug (Anne) Albright of Tipp City, OH; grandchildren, Christopher (Emma), Corey (Shannon), Mark (Allison), Matthew (Evanne), and Daniel; great grandchildren, Kylie, Emerson, Madison, Charlotte, Owen, and Claire. Jim graduated from Greenville High School in 1954. In high school, Jim was in FFA and ran track. Jim was a lifelong farmer raising hogs and grain on the family farm and worked for 42 years at Sheller Globe. In his early life, Jim attended Fort Jefferson United Methodist Church and later attended EUM Church. Jim enjoyed a good bowl of ice cream. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM prior to the service on Friday.
