Juanita E. Lane GREENVILLE -- Juanita E. Lane, 97 a lifelong resident of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday June 1, 2025, at 5:34 AM at Brookdale of Greenville. Juanita was born July 29, 1927, in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ronald F. and Goldie P. (Stonerock) Stutz. Jaunita was a homemaker; she was a 1945 Graduate of Lewisburg High School; Grace Lutheran Church; and she attended St. Paul Lutheran Church. Juanita was a person who took great pride in doing things the right way. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rodney W. Lane on October 13, 2005, whom she married December 29, 1956, in Richmond, Indiana; her sister Pauline Wills; and her nephew in law, Danny Chalfant. Juanita is survived by her daughter, Nicolette S. Howard of LaGrange, Kentucky; her grandson, Caleb Howard of Louisville, Kentucky; her nieces and, Sherry Chalfant, and Tracy Johnson, her nephew and spouse, Gary and Becky Wills; and her close friend, Antonia Baker. Services will be held on Saturday June 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Keith Menter officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home, Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
