Elaine McMahan GREENVILLE -- Elaine McMahan, born November 15, 1927 in Oxford Ohio passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene Miller McMahan; and her son, Jeffrey Neil McMahan; her parents, Butler Independence and Nancy Davis Kimble, sisters Helen and Gail and brother Bill. She is survived by her daughters, Gena (William) Fulmer and Liz McMahan; grandchildren Alexa (Alison) Fulmer, Cassie (David) Brown, Kelsey (Steph) Lopez, and Logan Gene Meyer and great-grandsons Spencer Brown and Jett Weller Lopez. Special thank you to her dear friends Darlene and Mike Palser for their years of friendship and love. Elaine was known for her spunky spirit and love of dancing. She served proudly as President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Greenville, Ohio, and gave generously of her time, especially around the holidayshelping to make Christmas brighter for many children through her volunteer work and gift-giving. She will be remembered for her feistiness, her energy and her love of bargain shopping with her lady friends. Her granddaughter says her love of black and white fashion definitely lives on in all of us. Elaine's family invites those that knew and loved her and her family to a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, July 12th at 2 pm at the American Legion in Greenville, Ohio. Prior to the Celebration a private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Everheart Hospice or the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard.
