Charles E. Herron GREENVILLE — Charles E. Herron, 66, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday March 20, 2026, at 9:51 AM at Wayne Healthcare. Charles was born on January 16, 1960, in Cawood, Kentucky, the son of the late Albert Warren and Susan (Blanton) Herron. Charles worked as semi driver for Rumpke; he was a member of Solid Rock Apostolic Church; he was known as the lawnmower man and was well known for working on lawnmowers. Charles is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Monya Allread on February 25, 2025; his grandson, Jeremy Kreitzer; his siblings Dora Jones, Albert W. Herron, Calvin Ray Herron, June Hites, Jesse Herron, Mary Herron, and Janice Herron. Charles is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Susan and Duncan Beatty, Amanda and James Tinkham, and Wanda and Matt Harter; his grandchildren, Steven (Lauren) Kreitzer, Cara Kreitzer (Jay Anderson), Isaac Kreitzer, Colton, Aleya, and Landon Beatty, Shane Herron (Alana Gifford), Kaleb Tinkham, Jayden Tinkham, Corbin Herron, Jansen Smith, Gavin Couch, Brooke Harter, Andrew Harter, and Gracee Harter ; 9 great grandchildren; his siblings, James Herron, Linda Toby, Ada Komora, Margie Haverly, Sue Dawson, and Wanda Fay Smiddy; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life for Charles will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday March 25, 2026, at Solid Rock Apostolic Church, 8991 Old Sate Route 36, Bradford, Ohio with Pastor Matthew O’Shell officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Wednesday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
