Jack H. Jones Sr. GREENVILLE -- Jack H. Jones Sr, 96, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, in Wayne Hospital, Greenville, Ohio. He was born on June 10th, 1929, in Piqua, Ohio to the late George and Mary (Slonkowski) Jones. Jack was a 1947 graduate of Piqua High School. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer hunting on his farm and salmon fishing in Michigan. He was a dedicated farmer and worked for many years as a skilled tool and die maker. Jack enjoyed planting large gardens with his wife, and he was a passionate bowler who traveled across the country to compete in tournaments. He was also great at telling stories and had one for every occasion. He is survived by his son Jack (Virginia) Jones, Jr., and daughter Gail (Jay) Hahn. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Brandi (Brenton) Stringer, Christy Forthofer, Megan Hahn, Shelly (Joe) Feuser, Jack (Annie) Jones III, and seven great grandchildren: Olivia & Nicholas Stringer, Carly & Carter Suttle, Jacob & Aubrey Jones, and Aaron Feuser.
