David C. Roberts ARCANUM -- David C. Roberts, age 71, of Arcanum, passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2025, at Wayne Hospital in Greenville. Dave was a man of honesty, integrity, generosity and principles. He worked as a nursing supervisor and an infection control specialist at Kettering Medical Center for 30+ years until his retirement in 2013. Dave was incredibly proud of his family, celebrating all of their accomplishments. He was a scout master, baseball coach, scoreboard operator for Arcanum Schools, food enthusiast, chili master, amateur joke master, stargazer and a pirate. He enjoyed his weekly golf outings with his golf buddies. He loved a productive debate, poking the bear and reading science fiction novels. Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Wendell and Ida “Avon” (Durham) Roberts and his infant twin sister, Betsy Charlene Roberts. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 47 years, Kimberly (Ulrich) Roberts; children, Dan Roberts (Emilee), Leah Huffgarden (Drew) and Jon Roberts (Alexis); grandchildren, Stella, Eli, Isadora, Lennon and Zigmund; siblings, Mike Roberts (Jeanne), Tony Roberts (Roberta), Jeff Roberts (Lin), Jason Roberts (Linda) and Linda Snyder (Larry); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. at Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH, 45304.
