David L. Miller GREENVILLE -- David Leroy Miller, 88, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday May 7, 2025, at his residence. David was born on July 13, 1936, in Neave Twp., Darke County, Ohio, the son of the late Walter and Edna (Davis) Miller. Feeling the need of a Saviour, he was baptized on March 22nd, 1959, into the Old German Baptist Brethren Church and was a lifelong member in the Palestine District. David married Alice Garber, the daughter of the late Daniel and Orpha (Coning) Garber on September 20th, 1959, who survives. David is preceded in death by his parents, parents in law, brother Duane Miller, brother-in-law Buford Flora, brother-in-law, Robert Deaton, brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Faye Garber. David is survived by his wife, his children, Rachel (Jim) Barton, John (Janice) Miller, Esther (Robert) Benedict, Ruth (Dana) Lesher, Charlotte (Mark) Dumont, Lois (Alex) Miller, Catherine (Art) Wrightsman, Joseph (Janell) Miller, Paul (Sarah) Miller, Laura (Jason) Fingerle, and Rebekah (Wes) Gipe; 52 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren, brothers, Melvin, Kenneth (Kathleen) Gerald (Betsy) Robert (Cindy), sister, Joan, brothers in law, Russell (Etta Mae) Garber, Charles (Thelma) Garber, Lowell (Marilyn) Garber, sisters in law Florence Deaton, and Doris (Dale) Culp. Services will be held on Monday May 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Palestine Old German Baptist Brethren Meeting Hall 4764 Clark Station Road, Greenville, Ohio with the Home Brethren officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday May 11, 2205, at the meeting house. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
