Chalmer O. Myers GREENVILLE -- Chalmer O. Myers, 97 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday July 26, 2025, at 5:15 PM at Buckeye Forest of Greenville. Chalmer was born May 2, 1928, in Darke County, Ohio, the son of the late James and Margaret (Tambert) Myers. Chalmer served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Pepsi CO. after 35 years. Chalmer is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rebecca (Costello) Myers; his daughter, Debbie Brown; his son, Chris Myers; and his sisters, Ruby Leib, and infant Doris Myers. Chalmer is survived by his children; Mark and Becky Myers, Karen Crabtree, and Brian Myers; his son-in-law, Steve Brown; his grandchildren, Angie Bell, Adam and Bonnie Dunn, Brett and Abby Brown, Trisha and Adam Beatty, and Becky and Tim Spurlock; and numerous great grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Stelvideo Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice.
