Don T. Stevenson GREENVILLE — Don Thomas Stevenson, 87 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday December 31, 2024, at 10:34 AM at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. Don was born July 23, 1937, in Frankfort, Indiana, the son of the late John T. and Madge (Gorham) Stevenson. Don served his country in the Army National Guard; he earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Don worked at Fram in the early 1970s, and other companies in Indiana, Ohio, and Nebraska before retiring in 2002 from American Tool Company in Dewit, Nebraska. Don was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon, Session Member, and served on the Finance and Trust Committee; he also raised and showed horses. Don is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Sandra L. (Palmer) Stevenson on September 18, 2018, whom he married June 12, 1960. Don is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Tom Stevenson, and Michele Good, Bruce and Laura Stevenson, and Michael and Annette Stevenson, and his grandchildren, Stuart A. Stevenson, Iain (Morgan) Stevenson, and Harding T. (Raina Noordhoek) Stevenson. A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on Saturday February 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Andrew Gilman officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio State University Medical Center.
