Martha J. DIckey GREENVILLE — Martha J. Dickey, age 88, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville. Martha was born on May 27, 1937, in West Milton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lester and Myra (Seman) Fourman. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Dickey Sr. whom she married on March 23, 1968; her sister, Peggy Swabb and grandson, Tyler Elliott. Martha is survived by her children, Stanley Whipp, Scott (Mona) Whipp, Sonja (Rick Brandon) Elliott and Tonya (Lonnie) Beam, her 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, her sister, Kim Fourman Smith and lastly, her significant other, Ronnie North. Martha was a 1955 graduate of Lewisburg High School. She worked in housekeeping and in linens at Wayne Hospital where she later served as a volunteer. Faith was important to Martha as she enjoyed going to church. Most recently, she attended The Fort Jefferson United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and coloring. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Jefferson with Pastor John McRoberts officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Martha’s memory to the EverHeart Hospice, 1350 N. Broadway, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
