Mary Kay Beisner GREENVILLE — Mary Kay Beisner, age 74, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Though cancer may have tested her body, it never dimmed her light or spirit. Mary was a 1968 graduate of Greenville High School and also earned a Business Administration certificate from Miami-Jacobs Career Center. She spent many years working at Whirlpool, where she was admired for both her work ethic and her charm. More recently, she brought that same warmth to her role at Eikenberry’s, the local grocery store, where she became a familiar face to many. Mary made friends easily and kept them for life. Her strength and sense of humor never wavered even in the toughest moments. She met every challenge with courage and grace. Mary is now reunited with her beloved son, Rob Beisner, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents Frank and Catherine Raffel. She is survived by her two sons, Chris Beisner (Stefanie Stritt) of Delaware, Ohio, Chad (Jamie) Beisner of Jenison, Michigan and grandchildren Stella, Cole and Ty Beisner. She is also survived by brothers Don Raffel, Charlie (Nancy) Raffel, John (Shri) Raffel, Larry (Michelle) Raffel, Chris (Pam) Raffel and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary decided to donate her body to Ohio State for medical research so we will be having a celebration of Mary’s life on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 2pm-5pm at Romer’s in Greenville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
