Dennis L. Pemberton GREENVILLE -- Dennis Lee Pemberton, 73 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday September 23, 2024 at the Brethren Retirement Community. Dennis was born February 6, 1951 in Troy, Ohio, the son of the late Bert and Wanda (Staver) Pemberton. Dennis served his country in the United States Army; he worked at Newcan. Dennis enjoyed fishing, sports especially baseball, basketball and Ohio State Football; his favorite quote was “I root for Ohio State and whoever beats Michigan”. He dearly loved his nieces and nephews and especially his great niece Kimberly. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents. Dennis is survived by his brother and sister in law, Gary A. and Ruthann Pemberton; his sister, Darla JoAnn Deaton; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service with military honors conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard will be held at a later date at Ithaca Cemetery.
