Notice of Public Hearings The Liberty Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 15, 2025 in the Liberty Township House, 111 East Cross Street, Palestine, Ohio. The hearing will start at or as near as possible to 6:30 PM. This hearing will address the following: 1) George & Kathy Clifton are requesting a Variance to divide 2.5 acres from a 6 acre tract for a residential building site for a new dwelling that is less than 20 acres. Current zoning is A-1, General Agriculture. Case Reference # L01-25. 2) Eric & Lori Laux are requesting a Conditional Use per Article 5, Section 505 of the Zoning Resolution for transfer of existing farm dwellings on a lot less than 20 acres. Mr. & Mrs. Laux desire to proceed with a lot split of approximately 2.25 acres containing a house and barns from an 80 acre tract located at 942 Godfrey Road, Parcel #G28-0-110-14-00-00-10101.
