Notice of Public Hearing The Liberty Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026 at the Liberty Township House, 111 East Cross Street, Palestine, Ohio. The hearing will start at or as near as possible to 6:30 PM, the board will hear the following case: BZA-Liberty-01-2026: A Variance request by Grant Bussey from Zoning Resolution 502.02 in order to construct an accessory structure within both a front and side yard instead of the rear yard; have a front setback of 40 feet from the property line instead of 95 feet in order to stay out of the floodplain; and since the accessory structure will not be to the rear of the dwelling, waive the requirement to be connected to the principal structure. The subject property is located at 4258 Clark Station Road in Liberty Township, Parcel ID I34-0-111-24-00-00-40200 and is zoned A-1 (Agriculture).
